Fixme PC – Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services, hardware, and software sales provided by Fixme PC (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
1.2 By requesting our services or purchasing products from us, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.


2. Services

2.1 Services include but are not limited to: computer support, hardware and software sales, repairs, installations, and related IT services.
2.2 Service times and delivery estimates are given in good faith but may vary depending on availability of parts, suppliers, or third-party factors.


3. Orders & Payment

3.1 All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated and are provided as price estimations only. Please note that due to global market volatility, supply chain fluctuations, and supplier price changes, prices may change at any time without prior notice. Fixme PC cannot be held responsible for any changes within the quote validity period. We recommend confirming pricing upon acceptance of the quote.
3.2 Orders for hardware or software will only be placed once full payment has been received.
3.3 Payment for all purchases of hardware or software must be made upfront. Payment for services is required upon completion of the job.
3.4 Accepted payment methods: EFT and Cash. Payments must reflect in our account before orders are accepted and processed.
3.5 All equipment, devices, and products remain the property of LaserDestiny/Fixme PC until paid for in full.
3.6 Please note that Fixme PC does not keep stock on hand. Orders are placed and processed only once you, the client, give approval and payment has been received.


4. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

4.1 Hardware and software are sourced from third-party suppliers. Returns are subject to supplier/manufacturer return policies.
4.2 Software, licenses, and digital products are non-refundable once issued.
4.3 Service fees for completed work are non-refundable.
4.4 If an order is cancelled before hardware/software has been ordered, no cancellation fee applies. If already ordered, supplier return/cancellation fees may apply.


5. Warranty

5.1 Hardware sold carries the manufacturer’s warranty only. Fixme PC provides no additional warranty unless otherwise stated in writing.
5.2 Warranty does not cover: misuse, accidental damage, software corruption, viruses, or issues caused by third-party interference.
5.3 Labour on repairs is covered by a 7-day workmanship guarantee.


6. Data & Liability

6.1 We will take reasonable precautions to protect your data during repairs, maintenance, or IT services. However, you acknowledge that data loss, corruption, or hardware/software failure may occur despite our precautions. You are solely responsible for ensuring your data is backed up before service.

6.2 Fixme PC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, business interruptions, or data loss arising from the use of our products or services.

6.3 Our liability for any direct damages shall be limited to the value of the service fee paid for the specific service performed, and no more.


7. Confidentiality

7.1 Any personal or business information you provide will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law or necessary for service delivery.


8. Limitation of Services

8.1 Services are provided on a best-effort basis. While we strive to resolve all issues, Fixme PC cannot guarantee full restoration, repair, or functionality, particularly in cases where hardware, software, or systems are beyond repair or contain pre-existing issues.

8.2 You accept that service fees are non-refundable even if the problem cannot be fully resolved.

8.3 You acknowledge that Fixme PC is not responsible for consequences arising from system downtime, data loss, or errors caused during service, and you voluntarily assume all related risks.



9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
9.2 Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.


10. Acceptance

By engaging Fixme PC for services or purchasing products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
